Darryl & Kenny (Part 9 - The day before Renovation)

Finally, the renovation will be starting tomorrow after such a long delay on the drawing and confirmation after a change of designer as Darryl just don’t seem to like the design that Mark had presented to him… Nothing seems right and the feel just doesn’t feel right so he decided to change the designer and thank goodness the choice is right… The drawing was similar to what both of them wanted… But they have problem as in where to stay for that one month of renovation works... Kenny can actually head back to the parents for a while but not for Darryl, his room has been occupied rented out by his parents for extra income…

So Darryl is kind of stuck on where to go… Kenny suggested him to stay with him for a while but then Darryl feels uneasy to disturb Kenny parents… Maybe a stay in the hotel will be good but Kenny objected to the suggestion as it will only add on to the existing renovation bill… He can rent a room for a month but then no landlord will want to do that… But tomorrow are the renovation, yet Darryl still trying to find out where to go…

Kenny: “Seriously, why not you just come over and stay with me?”
Darryl: “I just don’t want to impose on your parents…”
Kenny: “What’s wrong with that? You are the daughter in law anyway…”
Darryl: “Its son-in-law… but I just feel so weird imposing on them because of the renovation work that I am doing here”
Kenny: “But you have nowhere to go so why still think about all these? It just not important at all… And you can give them some money like renting the place… Though you are sleeping their son… and you know…. Yup…”
Darryl: “I need to pay to sleep with you!!!!! OMG!!!! I didn’t know that….”
Kenny: “No!!!!!..... That’s not what I mean… I just saying that since you feel bad then you can give them some money as rent… Not for sleeping with me… Idiot!”
Darryl: “Hahaahahah…. of course I know that…. But I afraid I feel uncomfortable… Maybe I should just go to the hotel…”
Kenny: “Dear, we have talk about this before… Even if you stay at Hotel 81, it will still cost a few thousand dollars… and also….”
Darryl: “OK! Ok! No need to repeat again… I know what you trying to say… But I can’t go home either…”
Kenny: “That why I ask you to stay with me but you just keep refusing which I still don’t know what is wrong of staying with me…”
Darryl: “I just scare I cannot control myself…”
Kenny: “Then just fuck me then… What the big deal?”
Darryl: “What are you talking about? I will do that for sure… But I just worry we will called each other Dear and other stuff in front of your parents which will jeopardize everything we have built up for…”
Kenny: “We don’t seem to have problems when we went to my place to visit them or vice versa… So why is the worry now?”
Darryl: “Because this is a month we are talking about… A few hours, we can make no mistakes but a month… Can we really control it for a month not making mistakes?”
Kenny: “But….”
Darryl: “Moreover, this house that we are renovating belong to us and I don’t want to mess anything up by saying the wrong things in front of your parents and ended up you not able to come back to this house with me when it is fully renovated…”
Kenny: “Maybe they are ok for you to call me dear…”
Darryl: “How can it be ok? When just last week, they are thinking of matchmaking you with somebody’s daughter…”
Kenny: “Erm….”
Darryl: “You understand where I coming from now?”
Kenny: “Then you should have told me earlier and then we can think of something together… You are always like that… Only say something at the very last minute… Now I have told them I am moving back for a month so how now…”
Darryl: “You just go back la… If I can. I will go back to my parents but the thing is they rent out my room so I have to find place to bunk for the meantime… So it either hotel or….”

Doorbell rings, it’s Kelvin and Zac coming by to help….

Kelvin: “So everything set and ready for the grand makeover tomorrow?”
Darryl: ‘Totally… Just still got stuff need to sort it out… Like where am I suppose to stay for the time being?”
Kelvin: “What the hell? You mean you still yet to find a place… Go stay with your wife la…”
Kenny: “Hey! It’s husband!”
Kelvin: “Whatever… U know best…”
Kenny: “Annoying!”
Kelvin: “Anyway like I say, why not stay with Kenny?”
Kenny: “He is worried that we might called each other Dear in front of my parent and ruin everything we have achieve so far… as you know, he cannot live without me for a single day… Hahahaha”
Zac: “Wah since when become so bitchy… Hahahaha”
Kelvin: “Woman is like that one la… Can never understand them… Hahahaha”
Darryl: “Erm… You guys seem to be having fun then solving my problem…”
Kelvin: “Oh yes… your problem… Very simple… Just bring your belonging and go to…”
Darryl: “Nope… My wife said cannot stay in hotels… Expensive…”
Kenny: “Husband!!!!”
Kelvin: “Let me finish can… Just bring your belonging and go to my place la… Simple right?”
Darryl: “Your place…? Sure or not? Will it inconvenient you?”
Kelvin: “Not at all… You guys do know I stay alone right?” Darryl and Kenny shook their heads. “You mean I didn’t tell you before?”
Darryl: “NO!”
Kelvin: “Well… that because you never ask… Hahahaha”
Darryl: “But will it be inconvenient for Zac and yourself?”
Kelvin: “Did I not make myself clear? I am staying alone… Zac don’t stay with me at all… He just come by for fuck and leave… Right, Zac?”
Zac: “Politically speaking… Yes!”
Kelvin: “FYI… I am a bad landlord to stay with… No hanky panky in the house, must clean up, cannot bring guys home etc… Can you take it or not?”
Darryl: “Erm… No hanky panky? Then my wife how?”
Kelvin: “Ask her to be a nun for the one month la…”
Darryl: “Erm….”
Kenny: “You guys do realize I am in the room right?”
Kelvin: “Of course, else we won’t be talking so loudly in front of you already… So you will stay with me for this one month or for as long as the renovation takes then…”
Darryl: “You are such an angel to come to my rescue at this point of time…”
Kelvin: “I know I am an angel because Zac always called me that… hahahaha”
Zac: “Too much information…”
Kelvin: “Nothing wrong with you calling me angel… At least I didn’t say you called me that when you having orgasm… Hahahaha”
Zac: “Hey!!! Since when I do that…”
Kelvin: “Precisely, that why I didn’t say ma…”
Zac: “So what else you guys need help with… We are here and free…”
Darryl: “We are almost done… Just some personal stuff to pack…”
Zac: “Then let finished up and go for dinner…”

All nodded in unison…
