Darryl & Kenny (Part 10 - Heart to Heart Chat)

With the renovation ongoing, life seems to be slowly back on path for Darryl after Robin’s death. However, Darryl notice that things has not really been the same ever since. He wonders at time what will Robin say about his renovation, etc. He was sitting in his room when Kelvin walked in….

Kelvin: “Hey, you doing ok? You seems distant today.”
Darryl: “Am ok… Just thinking…”
Kelvin: “Robin?”
Darryl: “Yup… Just wonder how have he been up there?”
Kelvin: “I am sure he is doing well and also overlooking at you now.”
Darryl: “I hope so… “
Kelvin: “So how’s thing with you and Kenny?”
Darryl: “Doing good I think…”
Kelvin: “You think??”
Darryl: “Just that I feel bad for him to go through all this… Sometime, I feel I not the right person for him with all my emotions going crazy all the time… I don’t know whether I want to continue putting him through this… Actually I decided to not stay over at his place is also because I want to think this through myself… I think he deserve better…”
Kelvin: “Then be better for him… I can see the sparkle in his eyes and all the love he have for you… As much as you thinking this way, he is not… and you shouldn’t even be thinking this rubbish of he deserve better and you are not the one for him just because you feel bad or guilty that he is going through so much with you… Ask yourself, if you are him, will you do the same… It never s simple yes or no, good or bad… It about how you want to make this work to advantage…”
Darryl: “I know what you mean but I just feel I am not giving him what he really wants…”
Kelvin: “And do you know what he really wants?”
Darryl: “Not really… But I…”
Kelvin: “Then no more but… I am not enforcing you of any sort but I just think that you should be even thinking about all these in the first place… It never easy to find someone to love more than loving himself and you found him… Treasure every moment, Embrace his love for you… You will never in your life meet someone like him again… Love him back is the thing you can do…”
Darryl: “You can never imagine my love for him…I will die if he leave e but yet I am scared I cannot be…. “Darryl starting to choke on his tears
Kelvin: “Be?”
Darryl: “I cannot be giving him the same selfless love that he is giving me…”
Kelvin: “Buddy, you are thinking too much… and you should stop all these because it will hurt you… Just be the best for him… You never know what he wants and you are just assuming them… There will be too many maybe to even be listed out but most importantly is you love him and nothing matter more than… And seriously, those things about I let him go because I love him so much catchphrase are just plain rubbish… Both of you will suffer and none will be happy… Is this the ending you really want?”
Darryl: “I know what you mean…”
Kelvin: “Just relax, buddy… It never easy but I am sure you can pull through….”
Darryl: “Thanks… It’s been so long since I have such a heart to heart talk with anyone”
Kelvin: “You know I am always here…”
Darryl: “Thank you so much… Enough about me… What’s up with you and Zac?”
Kelvin: “We are just hmmmm…. Actually I don’t know what we are… I am just taking it easy and go with the flow… It is very difficult to put a label to us now as we didn’t really talk about whether we are couple, dating or something… But then it is just a label so it not really important to me…”
Darryl: “True… but just curious, it exclusive right?”
Kelvin: “I am on my part but I am not sure about him… I not dating or seeing anyone now except for him but I cannot be sure about him… I do hope he is doing the same as well but who am I control him, right? He can do all he wants…”
Darryl: “You are starting to sound like a sour grape… Very sour type… Why not ask him then?”
Kelvin: “And get embarrass? NO WAY!”
Darryl: “Why embarrass?”
Kelvin: “Because if he say we are not together, how should I react? Laugh it off and claim I am just teasing him or cry on the spot… You get what I mean… I would rather choose not to ask to say anything at least for now and see how things turn out…”
Darryl: “Point noted…”
Kelvin: “So wanna go grab some food… Am very hungry…”
Darryl: “Sure, what u suggest?”
Kelvin: “Me feeling Japanese today…”
Darryl: “Me too… Let freshen up a bit and go for dinner then…”
Kelvin: “Are you calling Kenny?”
Darryl: “Nope… Let tonight be our night… Let eat, drink chat and home to sleep…”
Kelvin: “Wonderful idea!”
Darryl: “But let me first make a call…”
Kelvin: “Ok let you do your reporting while I go get change… Don’t come peeping at me hor… I will leave my door open… Hahahahahaa”
