Darryl & Kenny (Part 11 - Cold Shoulder)

Times really flies, without much notice, the renovation is completed and it’s time to move back into the brand new love nest that Darryl called it home with Kenny once again… Darryl was so anxious of moving back as he feel that he been imposing Kelvin for the longest period of time though he does have a good and fun time staying with him and all the jokes he cracked… And Kelvin keep asking him to stay a little longer and not rush to move back but Darryl misses his home and his time with Kenny…

Kenny however on the other hand thinks that they should go look for a feng shui master to select a better date to move back. Not really being superstition but his parents insisted him to rely the message to Darryl but Darryl was really not up with the idea as he is a free thinker and doing such thing make him feel weird and uneasy… The two of them have an argument over it and has been giving each other cold shoulder for almost 3 days already…

Kelvin persuaded Darryl to just give in as it is totally not worth it to argue over such issue, it childish to fight over such thing in fact. Kelvin asked Darryl to think of Kenny as he is merely relying a message on behalf of his parents. And so why quarrel with Kenny when he is just a middleman. Darryl knew what Kelvin is implying and he too is shocked that he can not talk to Kenny for the past 3 days… After listening to Kelvin, Darryl picked up the phone the next day…

No answer on the first call… He tried again… and again… and finally he

“Hello?” But the voice was not Kenny….

“Is Kenny there?”

“He’s in the shower... You are?” Darryl hang up…

“Shower? Isn’t he at work? And who is this guy on the phone…. Should I call back again? But what if he…?” Darryl was thinking to himself when his phone ring… It’s Kenny…

Darryl: “Hello”
Kenny: “You are looking for me?”
Darryl: “Yup”
Kenny: “Anything wrong? You sounded weird?”
Darryl: “Ermmm…”
Kenny: “Silly boy… I know what you thinking… You must be thinking who’s that guy picking up my phone. Right?”
Darryl: “Ermmm…”
Kenny: “Silly boy… You totally forget about it... I told you last week that I have a golf game with my boss and some business associate today… That is just my boss… Let me put him to the phone… Anyway he been dying to meet you… And he can actually tell it’s you even my phone showed a private number…”
Darryl: “Huh? You mean he know about us…”
Kenny: “Erm… Yah! He tells me you sounded weird and so I just knew u must thinking of something funny…”
Darryl: “Erm….”
Kenny: “You must be thinking that I am cheating on you at this hour of time…”
Darryl: “Ermmm…”
Kenny: “Silly boy… I will not throw away this relationship just for a fling… Ok? So what’s up?”
Darryl: “I miss you and u haven’t called me for the past 3days…”
Kenny: “Well, I just assume that you need to think how badly u been treating me for the past one month…”
Darryl: “When did I treat you badly?”
Kenny: “YES.. EVERYDAY!!! For not hugging me to sleep, giving me a morning kiss and good night kiss… and don’t get me started on you asking me to move back to my parents so you can enjoy yourself with Kelvin… And also the fengshui master…”
Darryl: “Dear, i….”
Kenny: “I have yet to finish… So don’t interrupt me…”
Darryl: “OK… You carry on…”
Kenny: “Erm…. So what’s up? Hahahaha….”
Darryl: “Annoying!! You are teasing me…”
Kenny: “Hahaha… Who ask you actually can think that I am cheating on you…?”
Darryl: “You can’t blame me for that…”
Kenny: “Of course I can… Blame you for not trusting me at all…”
Darryl: “Ok Ok… My fault…”
Kenny: “Of course… Anyway I need to go and join them for lunch… I see you tonight at home…”
Darryl: “About that… I am thinking when we going to see the fengshui master…”
Kenny: “No need la… I already tell them we have see already and moving back in this weekend…”
Darryl: “You lied!!!”
Kenny: “What to do? My husband scolded me lei… It I don’t do this, wait he don’t want me how…”
Darryl: “Good point… How come you so smart? Damn I have to stick with you for the rest of my life…”
Kenny: “Well we can go separate way anytime u wish…”
Darryl: “No!! I am not letting you go at all…”
Kenny: “Ok ok… I really need to go already… I see u tonight and u better make it up to me real good… “
Darryl: ‘Don’t worry… I never disappoint you yet right…”
Kenny: “Maybe tonight will be the night…”
Darryl: “For sure it won’t… It are up and ready for you even now…”
Kenny: “Eeeeeee…. Maniac…. Don’t corrupt me…”
Darryl: “Hahahaha… See you tonight… Love you, Mrs Tay”
Kenny: “I love you too, Mr Tay…”
