Darryl & Kenny (Part 12 - Shocking)

Darryl: “Finally! Home Sweet Home!”
Kelvin: “Happy with the new renovation…”
Darryl: “Perfect! The exact idea I have for my love pad with Kenny. Everything just look so like a home rather than a bachelor pad…Don’t you think?”
Kelvin: “Yup…I hope I can have this as well soon…”
Darryl: “Well, just get Zac to commit… “
Kelvin: “Erm… If only thing can be some easy, it’s not him actually… It’s me… I have someone in my life that I grew fonder to…”
Darryl: “Do I know him?”
Kelvin: “May have seen him before but don’t think I officially introduce you to him before… But he is attached… Happily attached actually… I don’t think I will even stand a chance. That why I didn’t really say anything about it… I cannot deny I wanted more with him but then again, as the days goes by, I know what we have now is all I can ever ask for from him… I choose to love him from where I am and not asking anything back”
Darryl: “Does Zac know?”
Kelvin: “Maybe… I am not sure… He ask me for commitment but then I just feel he is not the one for me though I been spending some time with him but then again the feeling is more like best friend…”
Darryl: “Best friend?”
Kelvin: “OK. Best friend with sex… But there is just something in me that I want to wait for the other guy which I know I am stupid and selfish about this… But…. I just don’t know how to put it in word anymore…”
Darryl: “Hey, buddy… Don’t be so despair… Things happen for a reason and nobody will be very sure what will be in the future… Don’t let anything awkward come in between… I cannot say I know very well what I am saying but I know you will always do the right thing…”
Kelvin: “Thanks so much… Anyway, let drop the topic… I better get going as I am sure Kenny will be home soon and you 2 really need some quality time alone to make up for lost time… hahaha…”
Darryl: “Rubbish... He got a late night conference call with his office in USA so will be home late… So you can stick around and maybe we can grab some dinner together and also need to do some grocery shopping…”
Kelvin: “Sure, am free anyway… But grocery shopping? The term sound weird… GROSS-CERY… Hahaha”
Darryl: “You hor… I go get myself clean up and then we will head out… I get you a towel too so you can wash up…”
Kelvin: “No different anyway… I wearing the same clothes after shower…”
Darryl: “OK I get you a change of clothes as well but underwear, I cannot help… Or wait… maybe I got some new one…”
Kelvin: “Excuse I very BIG hor… your underwear cannot fit my package… Hahahahaha”
Darryl: “I don’t know about that… Hahahah… So want or not…”
Kelvin: “Just a change of clothes will do… I can go commando… Hahaha”
Darryl: “Dangerous lor… Wait your mr BIG pitch a tent how… embarrassing to walk next to you… Hahaha…”
Kelvin: “Erm…”
Darryl: “Hahahaha…. Kidding only la… I get you a new piece of my underwear and u see can fix or not… Think u should be same size as me…”
Kelvin: “Thanks…”
Darryl: “Please… You have me so much for the past month… This is nothing… And after u wear the underwear, no need to return… Hahahaha”
Kelvin: “Of course la…”
Darryl: “Give me a minute…”

Darryl went to get Kelvin a new set of clothes and text Kenny that he will be out with Kelvin before heading into shower... They went to Carrefour at Suntec City for grocery shopping and then dinner after that…

“Wow! Didn’t know grocery shopping with a man can be so fun… Hahahah” Kelvin suddenly exclaimed…

“It’s the company you are with… Me!”

“Yes! Yes! It all about u… Hahahaha”

After Carrefour, Darryl makes a turn to IKEA to get some items before heading back to home… They were exhausted when they reach home. Kenny was still not home yet… Darryl give him a call and been informed by his colleague that he is still in the conference call…

Darryl: “Look like he wont’ be home anytime soon… His job is making him very tired and no social life…”
Kelvin: “Career more important ma… You think he wanted that…”’
Darryl: “OK la… I am not complaining just feel that it really very bad that he work so late everyday… And I don’t really have much time with him… But I guess you are right.. No choice when it come to work…”
Kelvin: “U scared lonely… I accompany until he come back lor… “
Darryl: “That very lovely of you… I going to shower first then I will open a bottle of wine and we chat ya…”
Kelvin: “Can I join you in shower? Hahahaha…”
Darryl: “Sure of course… “
Kelvin: ”REALLY?!”
Darryl: ‘Yup there is another shower there… “
Kelvin: “Damn it….”
Darryl: “Hahahaha”
Kelvin: “Spoiler…”

Kelvin was all showered and sitting in the living room when Darryl walks out… Darryl went to the cooler to get a bottle of wine and join Kelvin at the living room… The mood was really relaxing with soft music at the background and also the bottle set them in the mood to chat anything under the sun from past relationship to present and work… Darryl feels that he is closer to Kelvin than ever since he moves into his place for that short one month… Kelvin seems to become a confidante where he can really talk to and laugh with…

It is a nice feeling actually to have such a close friend other than Kenny. But he realizes that ever since Robin’s departure. he has never really open up to anyone like today even when he is talking to Kenny. He wondered is Kelvin his new Robin in his life. The friendship between him and Kelvin just blossom over during the one month they stay together…

And times past like rocket, without knowing it, it already 2am in the morning… Darryl asks Kelvin to stay over because it not really good for him to drive back after drinking… Darryl give Kenny a call but he is still in office working his head off.. And may not come back for the night but he will be off tomorrow so Darryl bid him goodbye and hang up..

He turns around and Kelvin planted a kiss on him… Lip to lip….
