The next morning, Darryl woke up really early to cook breakfast for Kenny… When Kenny was up, he was surprised by this thoughtful gesture by Darryl and glad that things maybe back on the right track again but he is not going to take any chance…he is kind of unsure of the whole situation change… Though he is happy of the change but there is worry that this is just an act by Darryl… Confusing but true... So he decided to talk to Darryl again on the situation…
Kenny: “Dear… Can I just ask you something?”
Darryl: “Go ahead…”
Kenny: “Have you think that it would be better for you to seek professional help on your situation?”
Darryl: “I am seeing the doctor…”
Kenny: “I mean professional psychiatric help…”
Darryl: “What make you suggest that?”
Kenny: “I just thinking that you need to start talking to someone about what you are really going through… And maybe, just maybe you may feel uncomfortable talking to me so this will be the best option for you… I just don’t want you to keep in inside and pretend that nothing is wrong… I want you to be happy again… As in really happy and not pretending you are happy… You get what I mean?”
Darryl: “I am ok already… I promise you I will seek help and talk to you more from now on and if I really need then I will go to them…”
Kenny: “But…”
Darryl: “Dear, you got to have faith in me…I promise I will go see them if I really need their help… but now I just want to work this through with you… Yet you have to give me some time… If you ask me to go to them now, I can tell you I may not be ready to talk to them… So just give me some time ok?”
Kenny: “Dear, I am not forcing you but just want you to see this as an option…”
Darryl: “I will keep that in mind and will let you know about it… Promise!”
Kenny: “You know I don’t need any promise from you just do what you think it right… But remember…”
Darryl: “Yes… I know… I will keep it as an option for me…” Darryl looked at Kenny and gives him a wink… Kenny just gives in…
Kenny: “So….”
Darryl: “So…. We should just take it easy and let plan for our trip which Robin has left us… We totally forget about it…”
Kenny: “Erm… You sure?” Kenny is even more confused now with the sudden bubbly self of Darryl... A vast contrast from last night…
Darryl: “Yes of course I am sure plus I been thinking it would be good for me to do something about it rather than sit around doing nothing… And I am sure Robin would want both of us to enjoy the trip… So let go to work and then we will come home and rework on our trip, ok?”
Kenny: “OK…”
Darryl: “Oh ya... Another thing is I am thinking maybe I should sell off my car…”
Kenny: “Why?”
Darryl: “Well, can save a little on the expense plus we don’t really need 2 cars for the 2 of us right… We just take turn to take the car”
Kenny: “True… But will it be inconvenient for you since you are in sales line and need to travel quite a fair bit…”
Darryl: “I’ve been thinking about it and I think with the installment of near $1K a month… I think I can sit comfortable on cab and still have quite a fair bit left for saving… Don’t you think? Plus your car is on a lower installment repayment so it would make more sense to sell mine and keep yours”
Kenny: “OK… Hang on there… there is too much for me to process now… Can we talk about it tonight?”
Darryl: “OK… Let go to work there…”
Kenny look at Darryl dumbfounded… Should he be happy that Darryl is back to normal or should he be worry that this is all just an act… He is confuse
“Oh ya… Dear, do you think it would a good idea to see whether Kelvin want to go for the trip as well?”
“Well… Let really sit down and talk about it tonight… ok? I see you tonight at home after work…”
They headed out to work together and during the whole day, Darryl constantly sms Kenny on his idea and thoughts which is making Kenny real worry because it like all of the sudden all the changes overnight… But he tried to calm himself and not to over think until he really sit down with Darryl tonight…
Finally end of work, Kenny was driving home when Darryl called to inform that he has made reservation at Fullerton and wanted Kenny to be there… Kenny was kind of reluctant to make a U turn but then knowing that Darryl was so enthusiastic about the dinner…
Soon he reached at Fullerton with Darryl with both hands behind his back
standing at the entrance waiting for him with a huge smile on his face when he see Kenny approaching… Kenny sensed something not too right… As he approached, Darryl took out a bouquet of flower from the back… Kenny was surprising touched by the gesture but embarrassed by it as well. It had been a while since he receives anything from Darryl…
Kenny: “What the….” Before Kenny can even finish his sentence…
Darryl: “I know… I know… But I just want to get something for you on a special night like this…”
Kenny: “What is the occasion?”
Darryl: “Erm… Nothing actually… Just our first date out since i… u know?”
Kenny: “I think I know but yet I am not sure…”
Darryl: “Well I think you know…”
Kenny: “I really don’t know…”
Darryl: “Anyway I will tell you later when we having dinner… So shall we, Mrs Tay?” Darryl lifted up his hand for Kenny but Kenny slaps it off…
Kenny: “No… It been embarrassed enough to hold on to this bouquet during the dinner so don’t think to make a grand entrance for the whole world to see we are gay…”
Darryl: “Why? I am out and proud… I can so kiss u here right now…” and steal a kiss from Kenny…
Kenny: “Behave… Am hungry so can we go eat now…”
Darryl: “OMG… You are blushing…”
Kenny: “No, I am not… I’m just hot…”
Darryl: “I so wanted to believe you but then you don’t sound convincing… Hahaha”
Kenny: “Let’s go…”
Darryl was smiling all the way to the restaurant with Kenny with the bouquet on his hand… It seems the longest walk for him though it just a mere 5 min walk but with people staring… he just feel so embarrassed but inside him, it sweetness overflow…

I know this is nitpicking.. but I hope you do know that a 360-degree means back to the original direction.. shouldn't it be 180-degree change ..
