When they arrived at the dinner venue, they realized that it was a themed wedding… They feel so out of place with their dressing… Everyone was so glamorously dressed… Darryl saw Kelvin and waved at him…
Darryl: “Hey buddy.”
Kelvin: “Long time no see… You look fantastic…”
Kenny: “And I look haggard…”
Kelvin: “Hahaha… No lar… You look great as well…”
Kenny: “OK… Only great… Never mind…”
Kelvin: “Hey… stop being a bitch… You know what I mean…”
Kenny: “Hahaha… I know la... Just teasing only…”
Darryl: “Do you think we are under-dressed? We are like the only one in jeans while other are like attending prom night… There are even guys in 3 piece suits…”
Kelvin: “Hahaha… I notice it too… And I didn’t even realize it is a themed wedding until I arrived…”
Darryl: “We are just as bad… Hahaha”
Kelvin: ‘But you guys always got style on lor… Always so matching in your dressing… So envy…”
Kenny: ‘You can too… By the way, where’s Zac?”
Kelvin: “In the washroom I guess… Need to touch up touch up a bit… Hahaha. Anyway, I have check with Lionel… He said it more than ok for us to dress in jeans…. So we are all safe but Zac on the other hand…”
Darryl: “Why?”
Kelvin: “He is in sleeveless shirt and jeans…Like a Chippendale Dancer… Hahaha! You will what I mean when you see him… There he is…”
Zac: “Are you guys talking about me?”
Darryl: “Oh no… Kelvin was just telling us how you turn him on… Hahahaha”
Zac: “Thanks for the compliment… So do have to turn you on too... Hahahaha”
Darryl: ‘Well, you have to ensure I don’t get kill after that by you know who…”
Kenny: ‘Hey Hey, Flirting in front of me… Want to die is it…. Hahahaha”
Darryl: “I would never do that… Never!! But I cannot stop others to be flirting with me ma… What to do? Tall, dark and sexy in my middle name… Hahaha”
Kelvin: “Oh goodness… I can so feel the gastric acid on the verge of exploring… Hahaha”
Darryl: “Hey... Maybe we should get ourselves seated…”
They make small talk to Lionel before heading for their seats… Not long after, the dinner begins… It was a Hollywood themed dinner which none of them notice it until the emcee announced it at the beginning… All 4 of them look at each other and give the “We really under-dress look” and smile… The whole dinner was kind of romantic and heartfelt by all the guests especially the speech given by Lionel… It brings tears to everybody’s eyes… The he ended his speech with a surprise…
“…. Thank you everyone for coming to dinner and I hope you will enjoy the rest of the evening celebrating our union… I understand a good friend of mine is quite a good singer here… I know him as somebody who is honest, trustworthy and a good confidant but I never know he is such a good singer until I heard from someone that he loved…So I would like to invite this good friend of mine and hopefully he will not reject me as this is really impromptu… Can I borrow your hands and welcome, my good friend… Darryl Tay…”
Darryl looks at Kenny and immediately he knows it was him who put him up for the singing again… But this time, Kenny actually did something different… He stood up and extended his hand… He held on to Darryl’s hand and together they walked to the stage hand in hand… Lionel looked at them and smiles… Kenny took the mic over from Lionel…
“Hi everyone, my name is Kenny… I am the one who actually put my close friend here to this surprise segment of the evening… So I think it rightfully my responsibility to ensure he come on stage to sing for the lovely couple tonight… We met Lionel in the most impossible way you guys can imagine… A few months ago, I was really sick and was send to the hospital and Lionel was actually the doctor who attended to me… And maybe fate played a part… We become really close friend after that… So tonight, at their union, we decided that… or I should say I decided that we should present him with something that he will remember so tonight, Darryl here will be singing for the lovely couple… So I shall hand the mic over to Darryl now…” Kenny passed the mic to Darryl…
“OK… Hmmm let me see… How funny… Geez… I am totally not prepared for a task like this… Though I am happy to sing for the couple but I do wish I am being informed slightly earlier to get myself prepared for it… Now I am totally blank out… Kenny, I guess you have the song ready for as well already right…” Kenny nodded…
“OK… While they are preparing for the song, I would like to say that it always nice to see 2 people willingly to take this new phase of their life together… Never once at a wedding, I don’t feel that love just filled up the whole room… Love from each other, family, friends, colleagues and relatives are all here to witness a lovely couple taking the vow and working together for a better future in each other arms… The relationship I have with Lionel is something magical that ever could possibly happen to 2 guys… And I am glad that this friendship has allowed me to see him get marry and maybe see him have children… Hahaha… Look at me, I sounded like his proud daddy… Hahahah” The whole room was filled with laughter
“But nevertheless, this is a special evening for both of them and hopefully everyone here will be filled with love after the night end….” Music started and Darryl sings for the couple…

After the song, Darryl thanked everyone and leaves the stage… “Encore, Encore…” come a voice from behind… Darryl looked towards the direction where the sound come from and saw Robin standing at a far corner giving him the applause and encouragement… The whole room become silent but Darryl can hear Robin so clearly... Robin smiled at him and even gives him a thumb up... Darryl stood still... he tried to called out to him but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't do it... He tried to reach out but he just couldn't move... Soon Robin started to drift further and further away... What was being replaced was a room filled with clapping sound from the guests… Darryl looked at Kenny and Kenny noticed something is not looking right for Darryl... Kenny stood up slowly approached Darryl but before he could even reached him, Darryl fainted...
