Good times really flied by fast… Darryl and Kenny woke up at near 11am and realized the house is still in a big mess… Darryl suggested that they clean up the house first before waking Robin up for lunch… Kenny agreed and the cleaning process begins… Darryl will clean up the kitchen and dining area while Kenny in charge of the living room… Never did they expect cleaning to be such a task after a party… And most time, they really wonder how they can mess up the place without realizing it… Maybe they are kind of high from all the drinking…
After they done with the cleaning, Darryl went to wake Robin up for lunch… It was already like 2pm in the afternoon when they head out to Marina Square for lunch…
Though it was Christmas day, the shopping mall is kind of quiet to begin with…They have no problem at all finding food at the restaurant which serves Christmas Menu instead of the normal menu… Halfway through the lunch, Robin said something that shock Darryl and Kenny…
Robin: “I dreamed of Tommy last night and he says he is waiting for me there… So I guess my life is coming to an end soon…”
Darryl: “Rubbish… Nobody can predict death… It’s just a dream…”
Kenny: “I agree… It could be just because you still missing him… That why you dreamed of him… You should think about death just because of a dream… I mean look at you… You look so healthy and fresh…”
Robin: “But I felt so real… I have never dreamt of him before. This is the first time I actually dream of him and he is telling me, he is waiting for me… Isn’t this a sign?”
Darryl: “No… How can that be a sign…? Tommy loves you too much to tell you that you are dying… He wants you to live longer and enjoy your life to the fullest…”
Kenny: “Yup… It could mean the reverse as well… When you think that he is saying that you are dying… He could be meaning that you still have a long way to go but he will wait for you no matter what…”
Robin: “I just have this feeling about my days are numbered…”
Darryl: “Nonsense… You are not making any sense at all… Like Kenny say, you are just missing him so much so when you dream of him, it just appear real to you…”
Robin: “But I am sure there is a meaning behind the dream or maybe an explanation…”
Darryl: “The explanation or meaning is Tommy want you to be happy and carefree… That why he appears in your dream to tell you not to worry… He is doing fine and he is waiting for you… I am sure he doesn’t appear in your dream to tell you that your days are numbered…”
Robin: “You think so?”
Darryl: “Yes… Yes… I think that exactly what he is trying to tell you… Just take your time…”
Robin: “I guess you two do make sense… Hmmm, OK! Let me go to the bathroom and then we go and do some shopping…”
Kenny: “What a great idea…I will call for the bill while waiting for you…”
Robin: “OK…”
Robin stood up and head to the toilet… Darryl and Kenny turned to look at each other puzzled…
Kenny: “What the hell was that? Just take your time?!”
Darryl: “What? I really don’t know how that sentence comes out of my mouth…”
Kenny: “You sounded like he is going shopping for his death… Just take your time to choose which day…”
Darryl: “Oops… Do I sound like that?”
Kenny: “Yes… Dear, I think you really need to brush up a little more on your skill…”
Darryl: “I know… But I was just so worry when he suddenly brings up this topic…”
Kenny: “I know… I am caught by surprise too… But I think we need to really get him off the mind about this because I am worry he may…”
Darryl: “He may what??”
Kenny: “Remember your dream of the policeman coming over to our place…”
Darryl: “NO WAY! He will not do that…Please don’t worry me anymore…”
Kenny: “I am not… That why we need to get this dream off his mind…”
Darryl: “OK, Darryl… Think… Think... what can be done?”
Kenny: “Well… Let just go with the flow and nobody panic about this anymore… For a start, let just pretend that what he say is meant to be a joke…”
Darryl: “OK OK… I can do that… let’s call for the bill…”
Kenny: “Yup…”
So they got the bill and then heading to Suntec City for shopping… Darryl and Kenny were kind of surprise on the mood change Robin has since lunch… Maybe shopping does make one person happy… He was in such happy mood that he just keep buying and buying and within an hour, he could have easily spent more than $500 or more… But yet Darryl and Kenny are happy that he is in such a good mood, at least he will not think of the dream or so they thought…
As the day goes by, Darryl start to feel uneasy on Robin changes of mood and his hyper activeness… Not that there is anything wrong with it but it more on the fact that Kenny actually bring up his dream about Robin committing suicide and he is really worry that it will happen… Looking at Robin behavior, he just knows that something is not right… The person standing in front of him is not the Robin that he knew… It like an act… An act to take him off guard…
On their way back after sending Robin back to the hotel, Darryl can’t help it but bring up the topic again….
Darryl: “Dear, do you feel something amiss with Robin throughout the whole day?”
Kenny: “I do know that he is very happy and having a good time buying and shopping…”
Darryl: “I’m starting to feel uneasy about the whole situation…”
Kenny: “You worry it will come true…”
Darryl: “Haiz… I also don’t know how to put it… It just feel to me Robin is putting up a happy act just to take us off guard that he is contemplating on something...”
Kenny: “You are saying he is pretending to be happy and stuff just so that we will think that he will not do anything silly but actual fact, he is going to do something…”
Darryl: “Yup…”
Kenny: “What make you think so?”
Darryl: “Because the Robin that I know will never react in the way he is reacting today… Everything he does today is so unfamiliar to me and it just seems like he has changed to another person…”
Kenny: “Maybe he really do change after what we told him about Tommy wanted him to enjoy his life”
Darryl: “I don’t know about that but I seriously hoping what you say now is true…”
Kenny: “Dear, just don’t worry so much… It’s just a dream and I am sure everything will be fine… Anyway we have make plan for dinner tomorrow so I am sure everything will be alright...OK? Just relax…” Darryl nodded
Once home, he decided to give Robin a call to check on him and Robin is in his happy mood throughout the whole conversation. He keeps telling Darryl how happy he was today and hopefully tomorrow will be better… Darryl spoke to him a bit more before hanging up…
