Darryl looked at the surrounding… It was so beautiful…
Rose petals were scattered on the floor… The walls are plastered with thousand of heart shape… Darryl looked closely on the hearts… Each heart was actually photographs of them since they were young… It was like a trip back to the past… Every single moment of their life are being recorded by each hearts… Tears just keep flowing down Darryl’s cheek when he looked at each of the hearts…
Kenny on the other hand was holding Darryl close to him giving him the emotional support… Kenny then leads Darryl into the bedroom where more surprises await…
In the bedroom, it was filled with Darryl’s favourite white calla lilies… Kenny guided Darryl sight to the centre of the bedroom where a life-size photograph stood there… It was a black and white picture of them lying close to each other with their heading touching each other and eyes closed…
Darryl: “When did we take this picture?”
Kenny: “The night where we officially become lover… You were sleeping and I was looking at you… You are so peaceful and cute when you are sleeping. So I took out the camera and took this picture of you sleeping… And it took me such a long time to take it with me inside… without opening my eyes… Very professional, right?”
Darryl: “You put in so much effort for today…”
Kenny: “May I have the first dance with you?”
Darryl: “Huh…”
Kenny: “First Dance as a committed couple for a week…”
He went to the CD player and plays the song by Peabo Bryson “If ever you’re in my arms again”… He took Darryl’s hand and they danced to the music…
Darryl was very touched by the effort Kenny has put in for today… But he feels ashamed for not doing the same… He needs to do something to make it up to Kenny…
Kenny: “Dear…”
Darryl: “Hmmm…”
Kenny: “I need to go get something… Can you wait here for me…?”
Darryl: “Ok…”
Kenny: “I be back real quick…”
Darryl: “OK...”
Kenny left and Darryl walk around the room to look at everything that Kenny has done… Every single hearts, every single decorations and even the life size picture is planned out nicely… Darryl felt the happiness and the love from Kenny… “I love you…” He let out lightly… “I love you too…” come a reply…
Darryl turned around and found Kenny on his knee with a bouquet of calla lilies on his hand and a tiny box…
Kenny: “Dear, you can never imagine how important you are to me… You are the angel send to my life to look after me… You can never imagine how happy I am preparing for this day? I been dreaming for this for the longest time you can ever imagine… I am now on my knee with a bouquet of flower in my hands and this… Darryl, will you be my lover for as long as I will live till death do us part…?” Kenny opened up the box... It contained a pair of rings… Kenny’s eyes started to get teary…
Darryl: “I do….”
Kenny took out the ring and out it on Darryl wedding finger…
Kenny: “Put this on for me?”
Darryl for on his knee and said
Darryl: “Dear, frankly speaking I may not be the perfect lover you are looking for and I may not be the perfect man you see me as… But I promise I will be here for you till the end of time… I promise I will love you forever till you get sick of me… So Kenny, will you willing to be my lover till death do us part…?
Kenny: “Yes I Do…”
