By now, most of you who have read the story would have more or less realized that both Kenny and Darryl are someone who loves to impromptu. They always kind of make last minutes decision for almost everything and then challenge themselves to complete it in the tightest time line one can ever imagine… Both of them see this as things that added sparks to their daily routine live but of course they have their difference as well when such impromptu decision arises… Sometime, you may wonder why make life so difficult but this is just their way to spice things up…
The planning was pretty chaotic for both of them… Kenny was trying to confirm the guest lists while Darryl working on the menu… By the end of day 2 (5 days left before the party), Kenny managed to confirm a guest of approximately 20 which include Jay, Kelvin and Lionel with their respective partners… And he was so excited over it but he decided to tell Darryl over dinner tonight... On the other hands, Darryl is still struggling with the menu and having second thought that maybe catering will be better…
Back at home over dinner….
Kenny: “Dear, guess what….”
Darryl: “What?”
Kenny: “This is so exciting… I have confirmed approximately 20 guests for our party in just 2 days...”
Darryl: “20?! How do you do that?”
Kenny: “You must admit that your lover here is very resourceful and sweet so when I ask them they just agree... It pretty easier actually… Jay, Kelvin and even Lionel are coming to the party… So how’s the menu coming up?”
Darryl: “Erm… Am I supposed to compliment you on that?”
Kenny: “Of course…So how the menu?”
Darryl: “Erm… Pretty good…I’m working on it”
Kenny: “I’ll take it as you are having problem with the menu…”
Darryl: “No… I’m doing good…”
Kenny: “You should know by now your face shows that you are having problem with it…Someone seems like regretting making such a big remarks that he can cook anything under the sun…”
Darryl: “Nope, I just need to readjust the menu according to the number of guest…”
Kenny: “No, you are not… You are totally regretting it…”
Darryl: “No! I am not… I will not succumb to defeat”
Kenny: “Ah…. So someone is regretting but afraid of losing face to me… All because I did an awesome job in the guest list”
Darryl: “Erm… No…”
Kenny: “This is going to be interesting… So what is the menu?”
Darryl: “Erm… there will be salad, whipped potatoes, turkey, honey ham, crème of mushroom and tiramisu and maybe…..”
Kenny: “Wait, you mean you can cook all those food…”
Darryl: “Erm… Actually no but I have the recipe downloaded so it should not be that bad judging from my culinary skills… Hahaha”
Kenny: “What?! You are going to use our guests as guinea pig for testing…”
Darryl: “Why such response?! I’ve told you it pretty easy so they will have a sumptuous meal…”
Darryl: “What?”

Darryl: “No… I will be doing the cooking… And I will do it so well that you will finished the dishes begging for more…” Darryl walked away angrily…
Kenny: “Oops… Someone really angry…”
Darryl: “….” Kenny walked up to him and gives him a hug from the back, Darryl tried to push it away but can’t…
Kenny: “OK… Stop struggling before I started raping you… Hahaha…. I know you want to make this work but there is just too much work and things to prepare… It’s not that I do not confidence in you or whatsoever but I just think it too much work… Turkeys, ham, tiramisu... It’s going to be a lot of work… I just don’t want you to tire yourself up…”
Darryl: “I know but I just…”
Kenny: “I know that you just want to make it special… Maybe we can consider doing some dishes and order in some…” He turned Darryl around and gives him a kiss…
Darryl: “Why not let me try it first and if I failed then we consider your option?”
Kenny: “But the timeline very packed…”
Darryl: “I will make it work and trust me; we will not even need to use your option…”
Kenny: “You seriously just won’t admit defeat right?”
Darryl: “Yes… I am very competitive… Who ask you do such a good job?”
Kenny: “Wah… Now blame me…”
Darryl: “Of course… If not blame who…”
Kenny: “Win already lor… It not my fault that I am good ok… I just good… No… I should say VERY GOOD!”
Darryl: “Go away… Going shower…”
Kenny: “Not so easy… Are you feeling something waking up?“ He hugged Darryl even tighter and kisses him…
The next evening, they were at the supermarket doing their grocery shopping… There are just so many things to buy and without knowing it, they spend the entire evening in the supermarket running around like 2 mad men on the loose trying to buy this and that and this and that… You can seriously imagine the shopping that they have…
By the time, they head home, they are exhausted… Totally exhausted… But yet they are so excited about dressing up the Christmas tree that they started to behave like2 young kids looking forward to dress the tree… They were totally goofing around and playing around with the decoration…
They have set a colour theme to their party which is blue and white… So they purposely bought a white Christmas tree and all different shades of blue decorations… After like an hour later, they finally completed their masterpiece and the lighted up the tree together…
“Christmas is so tiring but yet so fun….” Darryl said while looking at the tree…
