The next few days were really chaotic at work for Darryl… He totally has no much time for himself and not to mention with Kenny… But he was really grateful that Kenny was always there waiting for him to have dinner regardless of what timing he knocked off from work… At time, he does realize that how lucky he was to know Kenny and how fortunate he is to committed to Kenny…
It was 11pm Friday Night… Darryl was driving himself home after work… Totally exhausted and sleepy… So he picks up his hand free and gives Kenny a call to keep him awake…
*Ring Ring... *
Kenny: “Hello, Mr Chew speaking?”
Darryl: “Hello, can I speak to Mrs Tay please?”
Kenny: “Yup… This is Mrs Tay speaking… How can I help you? Hahahaha” Both of them let out a big laugh…
Darryl: “What are you doing?”
Kenny: “Nothing much… Just got home from dinner with Jay... Why?”
Darryl: “Oh ya… I totally forget you having dinner with him… Nothing I was just wanted to ask whether you want goes for supper because I have not eaten…”
Kenny: “OK… What time you picking me up?”
Darryl: “But you just got home…”
Kenny: “I actually packing my stuff also… Am thinking that if you have not call be by 1130… I will go to your office and dragged you home…”
Darryl: “Huh…”
Kenny: “Yes, dragged you workaholic butt home with your wife…”
Darryl: “Wife? Hahaha… Someone admitting to be my wife… Yeah…”
Kenny: “Erm… I mean husband… You know what I mean lar…”
Darryl: “Yes, my lovely wife… But why packing your stuff…”
Kenny: “Oh, Jay invited us to have a tennis game tomorrow… Say he got something to talk to us about regarding his wedding wor…”
Darryl: “But why tomorrow… Didn’t you just meet him for dinner just now”
Kenny: “Ya… But he doesn’t want to say but ask me to invite you along…”
Darryl: “Huh… What time? I was hoping to snuggle in bed the whole day tomorrow to make up my sleep…”
Kenny: “I know about that… That’s why I am packing to head over to you… But since you call so you can pick me up…”
Darryl: “Ok… What about Jay?”
Kenny: “Told him, you likely too tired for the game but will meet him for dinner instead… And he is ok with it… Though tonight I keep gushing about how good you are with tennis and he really look forward to play with you…”
Darryl: “Erm, I am just amateur…”
Kenny: “Well if you can win a game with me… You are consider good already… hehehe”
Darryl: “OK… Anyway, I am downstair already… Come down when you are ready…:”
Kenny: “That’s fast… OK OK… I’ll be down in a while…”
Darryl: “Take your time… I’ll be waiting…”
After hanging up, Darryl closed his eyes and fallen asleep while waiting for Kenny... Kenny woke him up and took the driver seat while Darryl rest for a little while more…
Kenny: “Dear… We are home…”
Darryl: “Huh…”
Kenny: “We are home…”
Darryl: “Thought we going supper?”
Kenny: “I bought the food le… I see you so tired so decided to just pack it back…”
Darryl: “Oh… Sorry…”
Kenny: “Come... You are really tired… No work for you this weekend…”
Darryl: “OK…”
Once home, Darryl head straight to shower to freshen up… Kenny came into the bathroom halfway and gives Darryl a nice massage…
They were sitting at the dining table having their supper when Kenny mentioned that he give Robin a call today to check out on him… Kenny updated that Robin will be in town next month and said that he is likely to come back to Singapore for a longer period this time round… Darryl was happy with the news that Robin is coming back…
It was 12noon when both of them woke up… They are cuddling in the bed when Kenny’s phone ring… Kenny answered and it was Jay checking in whether they are keen for the tennis game…. Darryl nodded and Kenny went ahead to fix the time with Jay at 230pm…
They got up from bed and get ready to head out for the game… Darryl asked Kenny to drive instead as he is being a little bit lazy to drive…
Soon they arrived at Orchid Country Club where Jay is waiting for them with another handsome young man…
“Look like we are going to play double today…” Kenny said to Darryl.
Jay: “Hey, you guys are punctual…”
Kenny: “What to do… Darryl is very time conscious…”
Jay: “Let me introduce… This is Kelvin… and Kelvin; this is Kenny and Darryl…” They exchanged hand shake and greeting with one another…
Jay: “So are you guys ready for the game…”
Darryl: “I assume we are playing double?”
Jay: “Well, I would like to have a game with you later since Kenny said that you are really good…”
Darryl: “He is just flattering me…I am just an amateur”
Jay: “In any way, let just have fun… Shall we?”
Kenny: “Bring it on…”

They started the game and it lasted for near 1h45min before Darryl and Kenny won… Darryl took a break with Kelvin joining him while Kenny and Jay carry on with their game… Kelvin and Darryl have some brief conversation but the content of it actually caught Darryl off guard…
“How is this possible?” Darryl thought to himself… Just then both players called out to them asking them for another round before ending the day…By the time, they left the club, it was already near 6pm and they decided to head for dinner in town…
During the ride, Darryl was still thinking of the conversation he had with Kelvin... It is just so weird… He just doesn’t understand… But on the other hand, he knows what Kelvin is going through… but then again why he allows himself to go through this… Shouldn’t he do something for himself… He was in deep thought when Kenny called out to him…
Kenny: “Dear, you ok?”
Darryl: “Ya… Just tired from the game… and my hand a bit sore…”
Kenny: “I give you a massage later when home, ok?”
Darryl: “OK”
Kenny: “So you enjoy yourself today?”
Darryl: “Yup but I think tomorrow I really just wanted to stay in to rest… OK?”
Kenny: “Whatever you want, my love… We finish the dinner then head home… Unless you got something you wanted to do…”
Darryl: “Nothing much I guess… Maybe need to go stock up the toiletries at home…”
Kenny: “OK…”
Darryl: “Dear, can I ask you something?”
Kenny: “Sure…”
Darryl: “Do you know Kelvin?”
Kenny: “Well, Jay did mention about him before but today was the first time I met him in person…Y?”
Darryl: “Nothing… Just thought you seen him before…”
Kenny: “He is always a mystery but Jay did mention him often… Like things they do together and stuff… But he never invited him to any game before until today…”
Darryl: “OK…Anyway, where we meeting them again?”
Kenny: “Suntec City…”
Darryl: “Oh ya… Hahaha… You guys mentioned so many places until I lost track…”
Kenny: “I guess so… hahaha…”
Darryl: “Oh did Jay mention anything to you?”
Kenny: “As in?”
Darryl: “You say he got some stuff to tell us right?”
Kenny: “Oh he said he will talk about it during dinner…”
Darryl: “OK”
“This dinner is going to be really interesting if Jay is going to announce what Kelvin had told him…” Darryl thought
