After the conversation with Robin, Darryl has not really been himself and Kenny feel the pain Darryl is going through and how he is blaming himself for causing Robin to be unhappy… Darryl has promise Tommy to take good care of Robin and he feel that he has failed... He always put up a strong face in front of everyone including Kenny but Kenny knows what is going through Darryl’s mind…
Kenny has tried everything he can do to console Darryl but then again knowing how Darryl is… He knows it kind of pointless to say anything at this moment… So he just stays by his side to give him the support that he need… And that is the least he can do now…
Sometime Kenny does wonder why Darryl always blames himself that is apparently not his fault… He does know that Darryl is a perfectionist and also know that Darryl like to pre planned his day or even life but yet when things don’t go right, he will start blaming himself for making the wrong move… Though he trying to understand his thought but sometime it leaves him even more puzzled…
Darryl tried to spend as much time as he can to be Robin maybe in hope to change his mind of leaving Singapore or maybe he is just trying to make up his “mistakes”. Soon it was the day that Robin travelled back to Bangkok…

Darryl was up all night wondering whether this will be the last time he will ever see Robin again… He never been so afraid of not seeing him again but yet the feeling has been creeping into him like a dark force trying to take over the light… It is like something bad going to happen once Robin returns to Thailand.
Kenny: “Dear, you are not sleeping? You need to get some sleep else how are you going to send Robin to airport…”
Darryl: “I’m ok…”
Kenny: “No, you are not…” Kenny sat up
Darryl: “I’m ok… Don’t worry…”
Kenny: ‘Dear, I know you since Robin say he wanted to go back, you have been blaming yourself for asking him to come back here...”
Darryl: “No I didn’t…”
Kenny: “I am your lover and I know you… From your action and how you had been behaving… I know what you have just said does not justify at all… You know sometime it not your fault… You mean well and hoping that he will have us to move on… Nothing is wrong about that…”
Darryl: “But he is unhappy here…”
Kenny: “Precisely, he is unhappy without Tommy… He misses his home; he misses Tommy and that why he wants to go back… It has nothing to do with you… You just have to relax…”
Darryl: “I am trying to but I am scare…”
Kenny: “Scare of what?”
Darryl: “Scare that I will not see him again…”
Kenny: “Dear, you are thinking too much… You need to take thing slowly… We can always go and visit him when we are free… And we can even connect over msn… You will see him again… I guarantee…”
Darryl: “You sure?”
Kenny: “Yes! I promise… You just need to stop thinking about all the negative things and everything will be fine…”
Darryl: “But I feel that something bad will happen…”
Kenny: “Nothing will happen… Just relax and take it easy… Now lie down and get some rest…” Darryl nodded but though he closes his eyes, he was wide awake till the alarm clock goes off…
Darryl got up to shower and get himself ready… He made some simple breakfast for Kenny before waking him up to get to work… After breakfast, Darryl drove Kenny to work before heading to Robin’s place to pick him up for airport…
Upon reaching airport, Robin proceeds with his check in procedure and then they head over to Coffee Bean for a coffee before boarding…
Darryl: “Promise me, you will take care of yourself while you are back in Bangkok…”
Robin: “I will… Don’t worry… Sorry that I have to go back…”
Darryl: “I understand and don’t say sorry…”
Robin: “I will come back for visit if I feel bored over there and likewise for you, do come and visit me…”
Darryl: “I will…”
Robin: “You know something…”
Darryl: “What?”
Robin: “I saw a lot of Tommy and myself whenever I meet up with you and Kenny… It’s something you should treasure… When I first saw Tommy, he gave me the feeling that he is the one for me and although it been only a short live 7 years… I did question myself why him in the very beginning though… It was funny at times thinking back but time just flies by like that… Within a blink of the eyes, it been 7 years already… Though there is up and down in the process, it the best time of my life…”
Darryl: “I know… Frankly, you and Tommy have been my role model since you get together…”
Robin: “Really? That’s something I never know…”
Darryl: “Well, I’m more of a subtle fan type… Don’t like to go around chasing for my idol…”
Robin: “Hahaha… That’s true…”
Darryl: “I too have thought about Kenny being a partner but as time goes by, I realize that there is still so much thing about him that I don’t know about… But I am slowly evolving… I guess”
Robin: “Evolving?”
Darryl: “Yup… To be better for him and to be more supportive…”
Robin: “Hahaha… What a word to use… I thought you going to say evolve into a monster…”
Darryl: “I’m gonna miss you so much… It’s been so nice able to sit down with you for coffee and just chat over everything…”
Robin: “I’m gonna miss you too…”
Darryl: “Guess you better get going soon…”
Robin: “Oh… I almost forgot… Here… For Kenny and you” Robin hand over 2 gifts to Darryl…
Darryl: “For?”
Robin: “For making me feel home when I was here… And for giving me hope and supporting me through the toughest time of my life since he left…”
Darryl: “Thanks…”
Robin: “Open it up together with Kenny and hopefully both of you like it…”
Darryl: “I’m sure we will…”
Darryl walked Robin to the departure hall and bid goodbye to him… Robin walks through the custom… Turn around and wave goodbye to Darryl… Looking at Robin walking further and further till he disappears… Tears fell from Darryl eyes…
Darryl looked at the gifts from Robin and walked toward the carpark… He called Kenny along the way to inform him about Robin’s gift and the instruction of opening up the gift only in his presence… Kenny inform Darryl that he is applying half day leave today to accompany him as well he got something from Robin too to pass to him in the presence of Darryl…
Darryl: “Huh? He left something with you too?”
Kenny: “Yup…”
Darryl: “When did you see him?”
Kenny: “Erm… The day that you ask me to talk to him over lunch… Remember?”
Darryl: “And you keep it from me for so long…”
Kenny: “Well… I cannot possibly break the trust that he ask from me right? You will do the same if you were me…”
Darryl: “True… So where are you heading to now?”
Kenny: “To Mum’s place to get the stuff first then meet up with you…”
Darryl: “Wah… you even go all the way to keep it from me…”
Kenny: “Well, I am a good keeper I guess… Hahaha”
Darryl: “Not funny, Mrs Tay… So what time should I pick you up then?”
Kenny: “No need la… Just let me know where you will be and I will go meet you there…”
Darryl: “Erm… I don’t know myself… Maybe I go supermarket to get some groceries I guess and maybe get some food for tonight…”
Kenny: “You are cooking?”
Darryl: “Thinking of… Sick of eating out every night”
Kenny: “Ok… Then I meet you at home then…”
Darryl: “OK… I see u later… Bye”
Kenny: “Bye”
