Darryl and Kenny reached at around 2pm for lunch before meeting Jason… During lunch, Darryl suddenly has a second thought whether he should be here with Kenny in the first place… He started to wonder whether his appearance will jeopardize the conversation as he clearly remembered that Kenny didn’t mentioned anything of him being around as well during the conversation…
Darryl: “Dear, do you really want me to be around?”
Kenny: “Yes… I love you and you are part of me now and in me as well…” Giving the naughty look
Darryl: “Hey… I am not talking about that…” Darryl blushing like a lobster…
Kenny: “Oh… Someone turning red… Hahaha”
Darryl: “….”
Kenny: “I know what you talking about… I really want you around because I don’t want to hide anything from you… And you can also be there to support me as well…”
Darryl: “But I just thinking will it create more problem if I am here… unless you did tell him that I will be around…”
Kenny: “I don’t think I did though…But I really want you to be here…”
Darryl: “I just don’t want to add on to the awkwardness for the situation…”
Kenny: “Don’t worry… I just need you to be there to support me…”
Darryl: “Sure?”
Kenny: “Never been so sure…”
Darryl: “OK”
Kenny: “Let finish the lunch and go meet him ba…”
Darryl: “OK”
It kind of a weird feeling that part of Darryl feels that his presence may jeopardize the conversation but yet he feel happy that Kenny want him there with him… But it more nerve wrecking than Darryl would have expected as the time finally approaches…
By the time, they make their way to Starbucks… Jason was already sitting… He was happy to see Kenny approaching him but his expression changes when he saw Darryl…
Jason: “Why is he doing here? I thought you are supposed to meet me…”
Kenny: “Yes I am… “
Jason: “Then why he is here?”
Kenny: “Because I want my lover to be with me…”
Jason: “Your lover? Since when? That not what you told me when we first met… You told me he doesn’t love you…”
Kenny: “Well, I guess he does after all...” Jason turned to Darryl and look at him…
Jason: “How can you love him the moment I appear? Why you trying to snatch him away from me, is it?”
Darryl: “No…”
Kenny: “He has always loved me for the past 20 over years and we are together forever… All our close friends were there to witness our union during our ceremony… It was me that having doubt on him but now i know for sure that we have been through to much together… The ups and downs, happy and sad, health and sickness… Our love just grew stronger… Yes I cannot deny that I may have doubt during the period that I chatted with you because he was so withdrawn from me… I tried very hard to be supportive but knowing that he doesn’t treasure himself make me want to give up… But I am wrong about my part; I should stay with him and not just give up… I failed as a partner to him…”
Jason: “So the purpose of you asking me out is to show me how lovely dovey you 2 are? If that the case, then I doesn’t think there is anything we can talk about…”
Kenny: “Wait…”
Jason: “What!!!”
Kenny: “The reason I ask you out is I want to let you know that I am seriously unsure of what we have done beside talking and I don’t think you should hang on to what we used to have… Apparently, we have different views of our relationship… I see you as a friend and nothing more than that…”
Jason: “What a way of trying to end thing between us? I’m your friend and nothing more… Then why does u have sex with me then? Cos you are horny and then all sudden u realize I am not your lover?”
Kenny: “OK, you just have to stop there… I didn’t have sex with you… And I know myself… I maybe high but I am high until I don’t remember a single thing… I am very sure that I didn’t do anything with you at all…”

Kenny: “Why are you keeping quiet? So does that mean that I am right about that part...?”
Jason: “No…” He spoke softly…
Kenny: ‘You have always been loud and very ascertain that I have done it with you then why all sudden the certainty went missing...”

You have to understand though you may have the feeling for me and I really appreciate it but then I don’t feel the same for you… You can sure find someone better than me… I know this sentence may sound very cliché… But seriously, it’s me not you… I love Darryl and my commitment to him is something that you may not understand… You are a good guy and a friend that I can talk to… But all the sms from you really make me feel bad about it… But the guilt is not to you… I feel guilty to Darryl for getting him into this tussle between us…”
Jason: “You know I always feel that we have connected in some way when we go out and having fun drinking and chatting… I never felt this feeling before and the attraction to you just grew bigger… When you finally tell me that you have thought of giving up on him… I knew my chance of being with you increases… But then all sudden, he is back to your life again… And he takes away everything… He takes you away from me… It him!!!” His finger pointing toward Darryl but Darryl remained silence…
Kenny: “Stop saying he is taking away me away from you… He is not… You are… We have been together with each other for so long… And everything was OK until you come over and create a chaos in our life… We are always together since we known each other… I never at any point of time say that I in love with you but you assume… I only love Darryl and only him... I never will fall in love with anyone else… You know how guilty I am with him since you come into his house and tell him all the stuff… I was dumbfounded as I know I have already told you how I feel for you ever since u keep wanting me to take responsibility of something that we never do… Do you know I almost break off with him because of you? And have you thought about that if I break up with Darryl, I may not even want to be with you because I only see you as a friend?”
Jason: “What make you so sure you will not be with me?”
Kenny: “I don’t know but I just know that I will not be with you…”
Jason: “Because I am not good enough for you?”
Kenny: “It’s not that… It’s because I don’t love you”
Jason: “It can be develop…”

Kenny: “To tell you that in my remaining years, I only love Darryl and nobody else will ever take his place… I’m sorry if in anyway, I misled you but I really don’t think it will possible for me… I don’t mind you being friends with us but I really don’t think you should carry on holding the thought that I will be with you… I’m sorry but that the truth…”
Jason: “What a way to force me to end it with you so that you can be back with your boyfriend. Now that he is in and all sudden I am out… I send you sms after sms after sms to wanting to meet up and telling you how much I missed you for the past few days and every single one was not being responded…”
Kenny: “I received your sms only last night when we are back from Thailand”
Jason: “You went holiday with him but you refused to go with me…”
Kenny: “I don’t need to explain to you any further and I need not report to you about my activity… I hope you understand”
Jason: “What there to understand? I am being ditch by you… Isn’t it simple? So what is there to understand? You don’t want me and you want to go back to him… What else to understand? What else?”
Kenny: “OK… glad that you realize what we are talking about… Guess there is nothing much already… Sorry...Dear, let go home…”
Kenny stands up and Darryl followed… Darryl turns around and look at Jason… He was sitting in daze... Apparently confused and hurt by what Kenny has said… All sudden, Darryl feels for Jason…. And he have an urge to apologize to Jason but that action didn't materialize... But as he walk on and look at Jason... He utterly out softly...
