Darryl: “But I am just wondering since you know it long ago that you didn’t do anything with him so why didn’t you clarify with him then but now?”
Kenny: “I am not sure but I discover it from his numerous sms to me… Sorry, I didn’t tell you this but I went through all his sms to me when I switch on the phone…”
Darryl: “Why sorry since it is your phone and your sms? But what do you mean?”
Kenny: “Maybe you read it yourself ba…”
Kenny passed his phone to Darryl, Darryl look at Kenny for confirmation and Kenny signaled him to go ahead…Darryl started reading the sms from Jason… While he was reading, a mixture of feeling arises… Jealousy, Angry, Sad, Relieve… All jumble up in him… After he finishes reading the sms, he looked up to Kenny…
Kenny: “So you get the message already…”
Darryl: “Yup…”
Kenny: “He just attracted to me and wanted me to be with him but the actual fact is we didn’t engage in anything…”
Darryl: “You sure?”
Kenny: “OK I was slept on his bed… But that all it happens… I promise…”
Darryl: “I don’t know why I feel bad for him and I feel that you are a bit harsh to him just now as well…”
Kenny: “I just wanted to make things really clear that nothing will come in between and maybe I am a bit pissed off by his actions... Sorry… That I maybe a bit harsh just now to him…”

Before heading to the carpark, Darryl look back again and see Jason still sitting at the same position… Darryl turned around and never looks back again…
After all the shopping and chalking on credit bills, both of them decided to take a break at Coffee Club Ngee Ann City… As they sat down and ordered their drink, Kenny excused himself for a moment… Darryl was looking out at the window and started to think of Robin… He picked his phone and called him…
Darryl: “Hello…”
Robin: “Hey…”
Darryl: “How are you holding up?”
Robin: “Bad… I missed him so much…” Robin started to sob...
Darryl: “I know what you mean… Hang in there…”

Darryl: “Then why don’t you come back with us? In this manner, we can look after each other and you have our company so you won’t be lonely…”
Robin: “I have been thinking about that too… But I just can’t leave this place where I have so much memory with him… It is just too tiring to start all over again…”
Darryl: “But isn’t what you are doing now… Starting all over again without him by your side anymore…”
Robin: “But at least, I have this place and the memory of him… And seriously I still see him here…”

Just then Kenny walked back into the café a small shopping bag. Kenny sat down; Darryl let him know that he is on the phone with Robin… Kenny signaled ok and just sat there and waits… The conversation went on a little more before both of them bid goodbye to Robin…
Kenny: “So how is he doing?”
Darryl: “OK I guess… He just cried on the phone and he said he still see Tommy in the house sometime…”
Kenny: “He must be missing him badly…”
Darryl: “Who wouldn’t? They are so in loved even after being together for so long…I tried to persuade him to come back and he said he will think about it.”
Kenny: “Really… That’s good new… I hope he will come back… I know you are worry about him…”
Darryl: “I hope so too… So what did you get?”
Kenny: “Tell you when we are home… let finish the drink… I need to go get some underwear…”
Darryl: “OK”
Finally they reached home after a long day from all the shopping. Darryl went to have his shower while Kenny “prepares” dinner. Darryl head out from the bathroom to the dining room and saw Kenny sitting at the dining table all changed and dressed up .
Darryl: “Erm… What’s going on?”
Kenny: “A little surprise for you…”
Darryl: “For me? What the occasion?”
Kenny: “Nothing… Just wanted to do something for you… But first maybe you want to get change as I am kind of aroused by you in towel.”
Darryl went to the bedroom and changed… Soon he was back in the dining room, more stuff has been added on… Candles, Light music and even aromatic scent filled up the dim room…Kenny walked up to Darryl and passes him a glass of wine…
“May I have this dance?” Darryl nodded… Kenny put down the wine glass and led Darryl to the dance… They hugs each other lightly and sway to the music… Intimately they dance when Kenny planting kisses to Darryl lips from time to time… Not sure how many dance later, they stopped… Kenny planted another long kiss on Darryl…
“Hungry?” Kenny asked… Darryl nodded.
They walked toward the dining table and sat down… Nothing was converse during the dinner but the intimacy between then just grew stronger… Kenny passed a shopping bag to Darryl before dessert; it was a Bvlgari shopping bag with a box inside… Darryl opens up the box… It was a pair of rings…
Darryl look at Kenny wondering what the rings are for…Kenny said that he actually have Bulvgari customize this pair of rings for them as he design these himself with a friend who works at Bulvgari…
Darryl: “I didn’t know Bulvgari do customization…”
Kenny: “Let just say I have some connection…”
Darryl: “OK…”
Kenny: “You like it?”
Darryl: “Yup…”
Kenny: “Look closely at the ring and you might something…” Darryl looks at the ring and saw “Forever” and the date they committed together on the ring…
Darryl: “Forever”
Kenny: “Yup… Forever… I just want to make our commitment more official between the 2 of us…”
Darryl: “More official?”
Kenny: “Yup… That why I went to customize this pair of rings…”
Darryl: “You mean all this while is just for fun?”
Kenny: “Nope… I want to know that every single day of my remaining days; I want to spend it with you… I want to let you know that whatever hardship or situation you goes through, I will be there to share it with you… I want to let you know that I will risk my life to protect you from getting hurt; I will do my utmost best to be the perfect partner for you… So will you be my partner till death do us part…”
Darryl: “I find no reason to reject you anymore… You have been there for me every single moment of my life… When I cry, you are there… When I laugh, you are there… When I’m down, you are there… When I am at my lowest point, you are there… You not just there for me but also for my friends… I couldn’t ask anything more than to be with you… Nothing means more than being in a commitment with you… I’m sorry that I something maybe too stubborn that I overlooked our relationship… And I’m sorry to have hurt you with my silly act of suicide… I…” Kenny place a finger on Darryl’s lip
Kenny: “Don’t be… I know you are going through a hard time… And I’m sorry that I am not there for you but yet I was out with Jason and create a sticky situation for you…”
Darryl: “You have already resolve it and sorry for not trusting you…”
Kenny: “If I was you, I won’t trust myself either but I glad that Robin has advice you to give a second chance… Thank you…”
Darryl: “But why another pair of ring again?”
Kenny: “Because this is new beginning for both of us… I gotten these custom-made about 2 months ago and seriously I find I did the right thing because since we went to visit Robin… I think we are ready for the next level… And somehow or rather, things just fall into place for me... I ddn't plan for any of this but just feel that tonight is the right time”
Darryl: “Hmmm…” Kenny took the box and went down on his knees…
Kenny: “Dear, I want to move in with you… So can I have your hand for this ring to start a home together for our future till death do us part…”
Darryl: “Yes…” as he nodded…
Kenny was ecstatic with the reply and put the ring onto Darryl’s ring finger…
