That night, they stayed in the hotel…
Back at the hotel, everything seems normal but then there is still an unspoken awkwardness remain in the room. There is only a king size bed in the room and frankly speaking, they were too exhausted from the partying and maybe a bit on the high side to be bother about it… So all 3 of them lied down on the bed…
Within minutes, all three of them were naked and making out furiously… And one thing lead to another, the so called monogamous relationship that Kenny and Darryl have is no longer monogamous anymore…
*Ring Ring* the room phone ring… Darryl was awaken by the phone and went ahead to pick it up… It was the reception reminding Sam of his check out… After hanging up, Darryl turn around… He saw Sam hugging Kenny in his sleep… A sense of regret hit Darryl hard…
“What have we done?” Darryl thought to himself…
Sam: “Who’s that?”
Darryl: “It’s the reception reminding you on your check out timing…”
Sam: “Oh… Maybe I should extend for another day… I’m too exhausted from all the partying…” Darryl stood up from the bed only to get pull back in again by Kenny…
Kenny: “A bit longer… Let me hold you…”
Darryl: “I need to go toilet…”
Kenny: “OK… Come back quick…”
Darryl went into the toilet and the regret feelings were really hitting him bad… He washed up and head out… He opened the door and saw Kenny making out with Sam again… Kenny saw Darryl dressing up…
Kenny: “Where you going?”
Darryl: “Heading back to work…”
Sam: “Can’t you call in sick?”
Darryl: “Nope… I got a meeting to attend to later… so I need to go…”
Kenny: “Oh… Then I go with you…”
Darryl: “You can stay if you want… It doesn’t matter anymore…”
Kenny: “Why? I wash up and go with you… Give me a sec…”
Sam: “Hmmm in that case, maybe I extend for another day and we go dinner tonight.. My treat… Thanks for the hospitality for the past few days… ok?”
Kenny: “OK…”
Darryl: “I may have to confirm again…”
Sam: “Alright… Give me a ring anytime…”
Darryl: “Sure… See you…”
Kenny: “Bye…” Sam gave both of them a kiss on the lips…
Kenny knows that something is not right as Darryl has apparently taken leave for today…
Kenny: “Dear, Why did you lied?”
Darryl: “What you mean? “
Kenny: “You are on leave today but why tell Sam you need to attend meeting…”
Darryl: “Nothing… I don’t want to talk about it…”
Kenny: “Is it about last night?”
Darryl: “I don’t want to talk about it…”
Kenny: “Dear, we have to move on, ok? What have done already been done… We cannot turn back again…”
Darryl: “Ken, I don’t want to talk about it… I just want to go home and rest… Drop you at your place first and then I’ll will drive home…”
Kenny: “We just go your place…”
Darryl: “I want to be alone for a while, ok?”
Kenny: “So later we meet Sam?”
Darryl: “See how ba…”
Kenny decided not to say anymore as he knew that Darryl apparently is regretting about his actions last night… So the rest of the ride home was just silence in the car….
Kenny: “Give me a call when you got home”
Darryl: “Ok”
Darryl drove off without saying goodbye… He feel ashamed of his action last night with Sam… Why is he feeling this only now? Why is his heart hurting so much? What is wrong? What is wrong? He is confused… Nobody force him about what happen last night but why is it hurting so bad?
He did not called Kenny that day… In fact, he decided to off his phone…
*Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock…* the door was banged furiously…. Darryl walked to the door and opened…
Kenny: “What happen to you? Phone was off… I called you at home also no answer… You know I am very worry…”
Darryl: “I told you I was tired… So I fallen asleep the moment I reach home…” It just another lie that Darryl has come out with…
Kenny: “You want to tell me what is wrong?”
Darryl: “Nothing… I am just tired…”
Kenny: “STOP TELLING ME NOTHING!!!! There is something wrong and I don’t know what to do with it if you keep hiding it to yourself…”
Darryl: “I really don’t know…It hurting me very much…” Darryl broke down…
Kenny: “It is last night?”
Darryl: ‘Yup…”
Kenny: “What is wrong?”
Darryl: “I don’t know… I’m regretting my actions last night… Then when I see Sam hugging you, it hurt me even more… Then when I saw you making out with Sam, I feel like a knife just stab into my heart while I still alive… it so painful…”
Kenny: “I am sorry… I just got carry away… I guess I am thinking with my dick… Cos when you left for toilet, Sam just started touching me again… I should have control myself… I am sorry…”
Darryl: “It’s not you… It just that I am hoping for a monogamous relationship with you and commitment only with you but after what happen last night, it just got me off track that I don’t know what is going to happen next… I am to blame also for letting it happen… We should not have stay in the hotel…”
Kenny: “Dear, let this be the only time we doing this… Let this be a mistake and we will make the same mistake again…”
Darryl: “But are you regretting what we have done? Or you are hoping for more?”
Kenny: “I don’t how to answer you…”
Darryl: “It ok… You already did… I need to alone for today… Don’t worry, I will not do anything silly so no need to worry… Just need sometime alone… Lock the door on your way out…”
Darryl turned and walked away….
