Movie Review

Over the weekend, it was actually quite busy for me... I went Sentosa with my family members (2nd time) to see the flower exhibition that is on and then stay there for a while for beach volleyball with my volleyball family (yes, quite a few of us in the family are actually volleyball school team... guess it does run in the family)... Then after that we went over to River Ang Pow (2nd time) for more photo taking session... Before dinner, we mange to watch a show "The Wedding Game" starring Fann Wong and Christopher Lee.


The movie was kind of fun but not really my type of movie... The show is about Christopher and Fann pretending to be a couple in life to ensure that they both get what they want as a actor... Fann being indebted by the family factory for $5mil hope that the fake union between her and Christopher will get more endorsement so to earn the money to help out her dad factory... On the other hand, Christopher needed it to help him get out of his recent scandal with a lady in the dressing room...

Throughout the movie, you see that both of them struggling to fight the lies they have build but in the end, they decided that telling the truth will lessen their burden at least on the emotional basis that they can live their life with lying again... But the truth be told, both of them really fall in love with each other and a happy ending is what ended the movie...

Review

It's is fun to see the real life couple playing a couple in the movie but then it kind of clinche for me because the movie is kind of boring and maybe the hype is uncalled for... I think that if the movie is not so talk about, i would appreciate more... It like the higher the expectation you have, the bigges disappointment it going to get...

I would rate the movie as watch it only if you are fan of either star....

The other movie that i watch is Brides War... It about 2 best friends who have a dream of being a bride with the perfect wedding... Everything was ok until they found out that the wedding planner made a mistakes on their wedding date and get them to get married on the same day at the same place at the same time...

All hell break lose... The 2 best friend suddenly become arch nemesis trying hard to sabotage each other wedding so as to ensure their own wedding is the perfect one... You can really sense the hostility between the 2 best friends going all out to destroy the other party perfect wedding... It;s a good laugh during some of the scene...

Review

To me, this is a more fun show not because i am a bimbo or i like bimbo movie but the thing is how determine these 2 friends trying so hard to ensure their perfect wedding happening... I guess most time, we wanted everything perfect for our life... Be it love, work, family, health but then there are something we cannot control... As much as we fight for it, there will be some emptiness in you... And in this movie it shows, they can fight but they still misses each other company... Friends don't come by easily but when they do, we should treasure them...

I rate this movie as worth watching with your friends for a good laugh...
